I have been busy in the last couple on months designing and making a new range of jewellery inspired by Alice in wonderland and her ever shrinking world !

The New range made in plated metal ( silver and gold) and glass with semi precious beads I hope will be a winner with all.

I was inspired by a web site I was buying beads from who had tiny glass bottle with corks in .

In the 1970's I bought ,as teenager, a tiny glass bottle pendant with blue glitter inside from the very trendy Chelsea Girl ( now river isalnd ) - so as everything retro is back in fashion I thought I'd give it a go !!!

I have used fresh water pearls as a cluster and inside the bottle and a few charms such as keys and cup and saucers for the "Alice " Influence.

In this rande I also have large keys , little birdies on a perch and mini metal vitage look hearts with charms and ribbons- hope you like .

I have been frantically knitting too - the frill scarves I couldn't knit quick enough before christmas - I have knitted some thinner, longer scarves in lovely summer fresh sorbet colours for the spring/summer ( for those cooler days - don;t know about you girls but I have as many summer scarves as winter one s !!)

I have also been busy making more crosages and hair clips from my hand made flowers - I have also come up with a bigger flouncy flower shape in the satin mixed with organza .

Don't worry I will still be doing all my old favurites - I have found a couple of new lamp work artist and have lots of new beads instock -  and I have just been to my bead supplier and restocked  with semi precious beads so will be doing a lot of making in the next week or 2 - Also added some resin beads very large and chunky (very Jacki Brazil beads ) .

Hi Everyone I am now right in the middle of my Summer Events next one being Hurst Horse show its a good day out for the family- lots of stalls ( including mine ) and some mad dog racing at the end .

Sorry to all those people who have contacted me resently about events they want me to attend - if only I could split me in 2 !

Hello everyone - hope you all had a great christmas and new year   and looking forward to what 2010 will bring !

Most of 2009 for us revolved around building an extension on our house - after going out to tender with several builders and getting shocking high quotes for the work we decided to build it "self build " . We were introduced to a very nice ,nearly retired ground work who live locally who started us off and we went from there employing each trade as we went - it was hard work but worth it and we have a fantastic new home !

We do have a slight fly in the ointment with our new lovely space though we bought a new sofa ,snuggler and chair ( 3 pieces suite) for it from John Lewis which arrived middle of December ready for christmas - unfortunatly one of the arms on the sofa was damaged -we only noticed it when we sat on the sofa and touched the arm the frame inside  drop down giving no support to the arm ! !

As you would imagine we reported the problem straight away to customer services ( we bought the 3 piece on line - seen it at the shop -sat in it etc and we were buying form John Lewis !)

We have made more than 25 calls so far 3 more this week leaving messages for the people who can to look at it (someone has been out last week to see it for a repair -this happened only after we sent emails of complaint to senior people).

So here we are 9 weeks down the line and yet no further forward ! DO NO BUY at John Lewis on line if anything goes wrong no wants to know even the JL shops staff aren't interested !    

On the postitive side I have much more time this year to concentrate on jewellery making and designing - I have been stock piling lampwork beads over the last month so this week I have started making this years new stock - found some really lovely beads and have some new designs - I will add some new stock to the website next week along with some more pics for the gallery .

Hi all

After a manic few weeks of shows and all the making involved to produce enough stock ,i have finally got some spare time to up date my web site .I have added   new stock onto my website ,lots of new goodies and more to come .

My last show was The Newbury county Show -a 2 day event but very long days so I feel I have been there for a week ! Each day starts at 8am and goes on till 6.30 pm so to get set up guess what time I get up for that one - 5 am !

Talking about events ,I am on the look out for new events to attend if you have any suggestion let me know .

I have some new pieces coming soon ,I have found some really lovely stud floral beads for both necklaces & earrings   (pictured on the front page ) so watch this space !
